DINNER PLAIN CHALET

DINNER PLAIN CHALET

First stop, Feathertop Base Camp. Not a bad place to kick things off, right?

You can arrive anytime after 11am on Friday and we’ll be there to welcome you to our alpine base in Dinner Plain, a small mountain village about 10-15 mins past Hotham Ski Resort.

The afternoon is yours to settle in, check your gear, prep packs and equipment, wander around Dinner Plain, chill out or just do your own thing. We’ll come together at 3:30pm for our trip briefing, where we’ll go over the plan for the weekend, check everyone is ready to go and cover mountain safety.

Dinner is provided, and there are a limited number of private rooms available for an additional cost, first come, first served.

MOUNTAIN CAMPING

DINNER PLAIN CHALET

DINNER PLAIN CHALET

Night 2, camping at Federation Hut. This is what we came for.

After hiking the Razorback, we’ll arrive at Federation Hut and set up camp for the night beneath Mount Feathertop. We’ll help everyone get their tents and camp set-up sorted, get comfortable and cook dinner together.

From camp, we’ll head up Mount Feathertop for the final 2km to the summit, aiming for sunset if the weather is on our side. Then it’s back down to camp, into the warm gear and into the tents for the night.

You’ll wake up right in the mountains before we pack everything down and get back on the Razorback towards Bright.

BRIGHT VILLAS

BRIGHT VILLAS

Next stop, Bright. After a big couple of days in the mountains, this one will feel pretty good.

We’ll arrive at our riverside stay in Bright in the late afternoon. Time to drop the packs, have a shower, crack open some bubbles, relax for a bit and get ready for dinner.

That evening we’ll head into town for an optional group dinner and drinks at Bright Brewery. Dinner and drinks aren’t included, so you’re also welcome to do your own thing.

There are a limited number of private rooms available for an additional cost, first come, first served.
